This is one of the hardest lessons in life for me...it seems like human nature to try to keep those we love from harm. Also, it's so easy to get wrapped up in other's problems/pain and then we take them on as our own. For most of my life I have done this, which allowed me to avoid my own problems. Ugh. I think this quote should be pasted to my forhead to remind me that the pain can help others become more evolved and aware. I want to hear about more Letters from the Cosmos. =)
